I was reading a story online about how retailers are allowing their employees to stay home on thanksgiving. Finally, right? Well no one is going to be out shopping on black Friday this year. I imagine that online shopping is going to be huge this year.
Retailers and big businesses aren't really deciding to care this year. They just know that it makes no sense to have their buildings staffed up when no one will be out shopping.
Please comment and let me know what you think. Is the business all of a sudden caring for employees or is it just doing what is best for their bottom line.
I would also like to make a suggestion. Buy early this year because with all Christmas gifts being bought online it will be fun trying to get all your gifts before the day.
